Community Clear Up/Clean for the Queen

Thirteen Volunteers turned out on Saturday 2nd April, to take part in the annual village ‘Community Clear Up’, which also coincided with the national campaign ahead of the Queen’s 90th Birthday to ‘Clean for the Queen’

Around 20 bags of rubbish were collected from pavements, footpaths and open spaces around Whitchurch Village to make the area look clean and tidy.

Refreshments were then provided in Whitchurch Community Centre, with homemade cakes donated by a local resident
and much appreciated by the volunteers after all their hard work.
